The Friends of the Swiss Museum of Games Association supports the development of the museum and its collection and improves contact with the public. In particular the Friends of the Museum establish contacts with people interested in games as a cultural heritage and improve the renown of the Museum.
They finance research projects, publications and acquisitions, and organize conferences. Moreover they help to improve the museum's services by encouraging individuals to participate on a voluntary basis in the public activities of the museum.
Members of the Association pay an annual fee :
- Individual Members 40.- CHF.
- Young people (under 25) and Senior Members (age 60 and up) 30.- CHF.
- Couples and Families 60.- CHF.
- Collective Members (institutions, firms etc.) 150.- CHF.
Of course donations are always welcome.
With your contribution as a Friend of the Museum you not only support the museum in its work, you also benefit from various advantages:
- free entrance to the Museum
- free membership, for members between 6 and 16 years, to the Museum's Junior Chess-Club
- exclusive events for members only, such as the new year's reception, conferences, guided visits, etc.
- invitations to the opening of the Museum's exhibitions
- special rates in our museum shop.
